Riding arena

My first detail article will be on riding arena's. These are used in the equestrian industry for horse riding, training, shows, and so on.

Some have inside additions such as classrooms, stalls, shutes, round-pens, and much more.

There is also the new "Round-pen" building designed specifically for the equestrian industry.

The natural light coming in reduces shadows and makes the horses feel comfortable.
The drafting and development team for the building systems are now working on a second size of riding arena. I don't have the specifics here on the sizes and options, but feel free to contact the factory or one of their dealers at www.winklercanvas.com
I am still amazed at the great performance of these buildings, including the 15 year pro-rated warranty offered.

Buildings, fabric covered

Welcome,

I am fairly new to the world of fabric covered buildings ( Jan-2008 ) and thought I would write a blog about my experiences as I learn more about them. My experience begins at a manufacturer in a small town in Southern Manitoba.

Winkler Canvas http://www.winklercanvas.com/ started as a small family run operation, founded in 1978.

Currently, Winkler Canvas has a wide dealer network across North America selling Winkler Structures, and many outfits selling our PVC products. We are also looking to expand our dealer network across much of the United States.

I had no idea that there was such a variation in the styles and uses until I started learning and investigating the product. There popularity has realy grown in the past 20 years and the uses also continued to expand. The fabric covered buildings are made for everything from small gazebos, livestock barns, to large commecial buildings. One of the advantages I soon learnt that these buildings have is the amount of natural light they allow in. This makes them much more comfortable to work in, and much healthier for the animals to be in.
